FAQ

What are safety rules for going to the playground?

We have a colored rope with special places for each child to hold on
Each child has a yellow safety vest that they put on before and after going outside.  This way we see all of our Shalom School children when we are on the playground.  We designate areas for them to play in that have age appropriate structures.
Safety information about entry
Entry code for school is given to each parent and is not to be shared except with individuals that are on the forms parents designate to pick up or drop off children. Door is always closed. We have security cameras which show the staff inside on a video screen who is at the door before allowing entry when someone does not have the code.
Schedule for the day and activities (this should be in each folder depending on the class that is being visited or requested for enrollment)
Each class has the week’s plan posted and available Varieties of activities for free play – you can ask for the week plan from each classroom so you can familiarize yourself with what goes on during the first two hours of the day (free choice)
